Tokyo Inspired Chicken Yakitori

I found my trip to Tokyo to be a sensory overload in the best way possible. From the bright lights to the high-rise buildings, it’s a city that’s constantly on the go. What would otherwise overwhelm me with anonymity feels quite the opposite. Intimate eateries dominate after hours and well into the night.

They are hole in the wall spaces where the resident chef has been perfecting their craft for 20 years. Usually serving just one or two dishes. These venues make one thing their priority and made it perfectly, every time. My recipe can be cooked on the BBQ if you don't have the luxury of Hibachi Grill.

Whilst we can travel there just yet, we can share our fondest memories, bring food from foreign lands into our kitchens and get ready for ample future foodie adventures in 2022 and beyond.
