Possibly one of the most recognisable and frequently used ingredients in international cuisine, garlic is always on my shopping list as I get through a tremendous amount of it in my cooking. It is used in all manner of recipes from Asia and the Middle East through to Europe and South America. My local market again came up with the goods with some beautiful smoked garlic. And if you haven't tried it, I'd also encourage you to have a go with Black Garlic. It's a game-changer.
