Sprouts with a Taste of Asia

A much maligned and mis-understood ingredient, the humble sprout gets a bad press at times usually as a result of over cooking. Simple halve the sprouts lengthways and cook face down in a frying pan with a little olive oil over a medium high heat until they begin to caramelise. This should take about 3 minutes and voila, crunchy, flavoursome goodness. I've served these here on a bed of soba noodles with a Sichuan pepper sauce, spring onion and sesame.
